The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive assessment of the value proposition and the potential economic value of tidal power development to Nova Scotia, the Atlantic Region and Canada.  The value proposition is intended to provide governments (federal and provincial) and the private sector with a well-researched and informed assessment of the potential value and broader benefits of tidal that could accrue provincially, regionally and nationally using three different tidal development scenarios of tidal power development in Nova Scotia, the region in Canada with the greatest potential for tidal power generation over the next 25 years.
