The Nova Scotia Government introduced legislation on April 29 to ensure marine renewable energy projects are developed in a responsible manner to respect the environment and the interests of local communities.The new legislation will increase consultation and provide for the safe, responsible and strategic development of the industry.
Atlantic Resources acquires Marine Current Turbines from Siemens
Atlantis, a global leader in the tidal power sector, is pleased to announce that it has reached agreement to acquire the entire issued share capital of the Bristol based tidal business, Marine Current Turbines Limited, from Siemens AG in an all share deal.
